Center for Computational Design

The Center for Computational Design (CCD) was established in November 1996 by Rutgers University to foster interdisciplinary research in automated computational design and rapid virtual and physical prototyping, and the application of this technology by industry. CCD works closely with the Center's RESBIO program.

Institute for Advanced Materials and Devices

The Institute for Advanced Materials and Devices has been organized to serve as a focus for cutting-edge materials science and device engineering at Rutgers. IAMD fosters ties between academic, industrial and governmental labs, and provides training for the region's next generation high-tech workforce.  To learn more about IAMD, click here.

Advanced Polymer Materials - AMIPP

This Rutgers center explores immiscible polymer blends and the novel structures and materials obtained by processing such blends. To visit their website, click here.

Informatics Institute of UMDNJ

The University-wide Informatics Institute was established by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2001 to integrate and strengthen informatics activities across the Schools of the University. The Institute seeks to advance biomedical research, educate scientists, and enhance clinical practice through innovation in the broad disciplines that comprise Informatics.

Bone Tissue Engineering Center - Carnegie-Mellon University

The Bone Tissue Engineering Center (BTEC) at Carnegie Mellon University focuses on therapies to regenerate bone and enhance fracture healing. Biocompatible, biodegradable polyurethanes and biologicals are used to promote healing of traumatic bone injuries and for compromised healing in osteoporotic, diabetic and geriatric patients.
