Two of our international exchange graduate students from Summer 2017 presented work that they did over the summer at NJCBM.

Maria Puertas presented a poster on “Novel Bioinspired Functional Polymers with Bioadhesive and Thermosensitive Properties”

I-Ning Lee spoke about her work on “Control of Mesenchymal Stem Cell Adhesion and Differentiation using Large-Area Chemical Nanoarrays by Polymer Pen Lithography”

Dr. Antonio Merolli spoke about work he has done at the center with support from RUNEG:  "An Engineered Nerve-Regeneration Surgical Approach in Disruptive Brachial Plexus Lesions"

Dr. Joachim Kohn, NJCBM Director, led several events in his role as Chair of the ICF-BSE (International College of Fellows of Biomaterials Science and Engineering.)

Dr. Kohn organized a special Fellows Session in which four Fellows spoke on "Important Controversies in Biomaterials Science". THis session was standing-room only and was attended by over 200 people.
